SNOW AGAIN?!

It snowed again! When is this going to stop and just be nice and sunny all the time? I miss the 78 degree weather we had all last week! I don't want to put my flip flops back in the closet, I refuse! Tim sent me this picture he took on the way to his job site this morning. At least I don't have to work out in this! But thank God Tim does! What I mean is; Halliburton had another round of layoffs yesterday and they skipped Tim again! This means one of two things, either they like him or they don't like him enough to lay him off so he can get unemployment and they are trying to make him quit!

Either way I am glad he still has a job and hopefully he will be getting more hours again now that they have less employees!

Nice Day For A Ride!

It was a beautiful day so we took Marcus to the Lunch Loop to ride his bike!

After looking at these pictures it occurred to me that if your kids head it bigger than the wheels on his bike, his bike is too small! Oh well he loves to ride it and chase after Toby! He didn't ride very far today because he wanted to run and jump. These pictures crack me up!

Tim and Marcus had a race, but Tim is a little too competative and left Marcus in the dust! What a sandbagger!

Marcus ran till his batteries died! We love being outside and I am so glad that Spring is here!

Daddy's New Old Truck

Tim is trying to sell his Nissan to help pay our taxes this year.So we are buying and old Chevy from Pop Pop. Last week Marcus helped Tim clean it out and do some minor repairs. Tim found a part behind the seat and he didn't know what it went to. But Marcus did because when Tim turned his back Marcus put it right where it belonged. Funny thing is that it was the horn!

SNOW?

Yes that's snow and it is still snowing! This crazy Junction weather is nuts! It was in the 70's this week, breaking records and this morning SNOW?!! The trees are already getting leaves, what it going on! I am ready for the hot weather now not snow! Marcus looked out the window when he got up and said "Oh no! Snow! It's a mess!" He always makes me laugh!

Our First Look @ Ava!

We had our ultra sound yesterday! The tech told us she is not making any promises but that her best guess is that we are having a GIRL! I have said this baby was a girl from the very beginning and I still feel that way! So I am going with that! Last night Marcus patted my belly and said "sister" and this morning he climbed in my bed and pointed at my belly and said "baby, girl". He knows whats going on! He is so smart! I am ready to start sewing a quilt for Ava Rose. I can't wait to see what she looks like when she is all cooked!

Marcus had his last swim lesson last night and it was his best! He loves the water and is not afraid to go under. He is starting to get the swim movements down, kicking his legs and crawling with his arms at the same time! He even jumps in! We had a lot of fun in this class and made a new friend named Bean. Marcus likes to say his name. He was so tiered from last nights class, he passed out on the way home, just after 5, and slept for 12 hours! We signed up for more lessons this morning!

Tim dodged a bullet yesterday when over 100 employees of Halliburton got laid off! He had taken a personal day for the ultrasound but when we got home he had to go in to get something he forgot in his work truck. When he got home he told me that two Sheriff deputies stopped him at the gate and asked for his ID before they let him in. So I looked online and sure enough they had laid off numerous employees earlier that morning. I couldn't sleep last night not knowing if Tim would have a job this morning when he went in! He went in at 8 and they had a meeting about the changes and yes by some miracle Tim still has a job!!! Thank god! This has been a good job for him and he likes it. Mostly he likes driving the big trucks!
